AHW Studio jewellery is vintage and has a rugged, industrial aesthetic, so don't worry if your pieces have aged slightly! To keep your jewellery looking shiny and new, avoid water like washing your hands, showering, swimming etc (unless specified to be waterproof!). Watch movements aren't made of steel, so they don't rust, but keeping it dry will ensure their original look and beautiful patina.

Sterling Silver tarnishes and discolours over time when exposed to humidity, chlorine, saltwater, and even perfume. This is completely natural and not a sign of poor quality metal! Silver becomes dark because of sulphur in the air and in our skin. A silver polishing cloth - that can be purchased at most jewellery stores - and some elbow grease can remedy this and keep your pieces beautiful for years to come.
