A Family of Craftspeople
Long before we made jewellery, our parents were sculptors and artists, and before them, their parents were oil painters. Our grandparents have painted for over 70 years & taught Fine Arts in China, before migrating to Australia in 1997, where their art style drastically evolved to something a bit more... down unda'.
IRON PEARS is an art installation currently (as of 2023) outside the Canberra NGA. When Renji arrived in Australia, the National Art Gallery was one of the first places to visit, and he fell in love with this art installation. When he painted it in 1998, they were steel-coloured. Today, they're almost completely brown with rust.
Our Art Prints are highly detailed, richly coloured, quality digital reproductions. We print on canvas, as not only does it feel organic and great, but it also pays respect to the traditional medium of oil painting, and to what our Grandparents have always used...
