Slim Sir - a vintage men's ruby ring. What makes this ring special is its centre - a repurposed watch mechanism from over 70 years ago!
The story of Slim Sir begins in the 1940's - as a tiny, intricate Swiss-made wristwatch. Little did its original wearer know that its legacy would live on into today, reworked and remade into a unique, sterling silver ruby ring.
Watch mechanisms were embedded with 17 rubies - jewels that were placed inside to reduce friction caused by the turning of gears! No two watch mechanisms are ever alike - resulting in a vintage ruby ring that is crafted by artisans both past and present
